Dr. Temple Grandin is a Distinguished Professor of Animal Science at Colorado State University. Many companies around the world use facilities she has designed for handling livestock. Temple has appeared on numerous TV shows, such as 20/20 and Prime Time. Her books include Thinking in Pictures, Livestock Handling and Transport, and The Autistic Brain. Judy Van De Water is recognized as a world expert on the immune system's role in autism and other developmental disorders. Dr. Van de Water joined the Department of Internal Medicine faculty at the University of California, Davis, in 1999. In 2000, she also joined the newly formed UC Davis M.I.N.D. Institute faculty when she began her research on the immunobiology of autism.
