Dr. Shelley Margow, OTD, BCBA
Dr. Shelley Rachelle Margow is an accomplished clinician, educator, and leader with more than 30 years of experience supporting children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), developmental coordination disorder (DCD), sensory processing challenges, and complex learning needs.
She is the founder and former Chief Clinical Officer of Children’s Therapy Works, established in 1998, and is currently President of Academy ABA, where she has led the design and integration of integrated therapeutic-educational models.
Internationally recognized as a speaker, author, and researcher, she wrote ‘Sensory Integration Simplified: Is This My Child?’ and contributed to key professional publications, such as Occupational Therapy Manager, 6th ed.
Beyond her foundation in occupational therapy and behavior analysis, Dr. Margow has pursued advanced clinical training across multiple approaches, including hippotherapy, aquatic therapy, and auditory-based interventions, with an emphasis on collaborative, interdisciplinary care. She holds a doctorate in Occupational Therapy and a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Boston University and is certified as an OTR/L and BCBA.
