Dr. Gabriel M. Belfort, M.D., Ph.D.

Dr. Gabriel Belfort is the senior vice president of Clinical Development Sciences and Operations at Axial Therapeutics. He is a central nervous system (CNS) focused physician-scientist and medical director accelerating clinical development of high quality novel therapeutics to patients with significant unmet needs. An MD with training in neurology, and PhD, postdoctoral and industry experience exploring molecular, cellular, and pre-clinical pharmacological aspects of CNS function.
