Parent Story about MTT: Meet Nancy + Kira
After years of struggling with severe gastrointestinal issues, Kira’s mother, Nancy, always believed that her daughter’s gut health was linked to her autism symptoms. I changed my research to create the Autism Research Program at Arizona State University, and began 25 years of research focused on the causes of autism and how to treat it. Our research team has published over 60 studies on autism, focused on nutritional and gut health treatments. One of our major discoveries is that most children with autism have major bacterial and/or yeast infections in their gut, and our new treatment Microbiota Transplant Therapy (MTT) has been found in four clinical studies to result in substantial improvements in gut and autism-related symptoms.”
