About Us

Anderson Center for Autism (ACA) is a nationally recognized organization dedicated to optimizing the quality of life for children and adults with autism. Located in New York's Hudson Valley, approximately two hours north of New York City, Anderson provides highly specialized educational, residential, and support services for individuals on the autism spectrum from across the United States. Through evidence-based practices grounded in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Anderson helps individuals achieve meaningful progress while supporting families every step of the way.

Serving students ages 5 to 22, Anderson's educational and residential programs are designed to meet the unique needs of each learner, promoting independence, communication, social development, and overall well-being. With a multidisciplinary team of educators, behavior analysts, therapists, psychologists, and support professionals, Anderson delivers individualized programming that fosters lifelong success.

Beyond its campus programs, Anderson Center Consulting & Training (ACCT) extends the organization's expertise to school districts, agencies, service providers, businesses, private schools, community stakeholders, and families. ACCT offers behavioral and educational consultation, evaluations, professional development, training, intervention support, environmental design recommendations, and parent coaching. Through these services, Anderson helps create more inclusive and accessible environments for autistic and neurodivergent individuals in schools, workplaces, and communities.

Anderson also leads innovative professional learning initiatives through ECHO Autism Anderson, a virtual, case-based learning network that connects educators and autism specialists with expert resources and evidence-based strategies. Using the globally recognized Project ECHO model, participants collaborate in real time, discuss de-identified student cases, and engage in focused learning modules that build capacity and improve outcomes for autistic students. This program helps educators and practitioners access expert guidance regardless of geographic location, ultimately expanding autism best practices to schools and organizations worldwide.

Through compassionate care, innovative education, community partnerships, and a commitment to lifelong learning℠, Anderson Center for Autism continues to be a leader in supporting autistic and neurodivergent individuals, empowering them to reach their fullest potential and thrive in their communities.
